Settlers of Catan Ten Days in Europe Bananagrams Math Dice (I was shocked my kids like this, but they do!) Risk Axis and Allies Chronology Cooperative games are a lot of fun and build family camaraderie - games like Forbidden Island and Pandemic for the older crowd, and Outfoxed and Race to the Treasure for the youngers

How fun that you make Friday night game night! What a wonderful idea. My kids are still young, so early Friday nights mean regular bedtime, and extra one on one time with my 9 year old- we usually just talk or read. Games we like are charades, 20 questions (we choose a character in tanach and have to guess by the clues we glean from the question we ask) and we also love taking turns picking a song to sing by order of the aleph beis...

Thanks for some new ideas! Our oldest is 10, but some of the games they currently enjoy are Pandemic, Monopoly Deal, Stratego, Scrabble. I just bought Ticket to Ride on sale, so we’ll see if it goes over well. I really like the cooperative concept of Pandemic, so maybe I’ll have to check out the others you mentioned. Thanks!

We like plain old Rummikub! We’ve been playing it every Friday night since the clock change. 🙂
